Anyone from the philippines here? I want to know who and where i came from. I could not ask my father about our lineage cause he has speech difficulty. Whom should you refer me to regarding this matter. thanks in advance

HI! what you want to know about your roots? was it the filipinos in general? or your relatives particularly? if you want to know about your relatives then maybe you should research in some phone directories.. maybe it can help. :) though not so precise but i guess browsing thru a telephone directory might help.
if you want to know about filipinos in general we are great and friendly people. filipinos are known for their attitude of being hardworking. we still have preserve our values as well. though lots of filipinos are being influenced by some other countries like the US, UK, Japan, China, Korea and some other neihgboring countries, there still a lot that practices our values. just always drop by in this topic and am sure you can have a lot of help from other filipino members here in MYLOT... welcome to mylot my friend.. and we are proud and honored to be of help.. :)

maybe you can ask where he grow up then from there the locals can be inquired about your dad or even just looking for people with the same family name. You also try to search over the net maybe you have relatives who have profile online and there you can connect to research about your ancestry.
