Is Sholay the best movie ever made in bollywood?

I think so,it has comedy,action,romance.all the filmy masala..

Not a pinch of doubt about it...It is the best ever made movie in Bollywood...It has an original idea behind it and the movie has a flow in it. Apart from the different masala items mentioned by amit, it shows the dynamics of relationships...between friends, lovers(Amitabh and jaya) , tragedies(specially with jaya and sanjeev kapoor), masti and of course the hero of the drama - Gabbar(who debuted in the movie) singh's cruel acting. On any given, i can watch it for at least 2-3 times. Now enough praises, i think i expect this response to b tagged the best ;)

I think it is a fantastic film ever made... Sholay -the film of the millanium.But i wonder what factor of the film strike on the people..The story,stars or the different mode of the film style..I also wonder why this formulae never won again..Why other films in the same category fails to get much response..The sholay runs 5 consecutive year in a theater.All this are amazing and unbelievable news for me... Sholay is the best when consider the popularity...

yes no doubts.many other good movies have been made like ddlj and kkhh but it is ultimate.Also Rand de basanti which came last year was too guud but could not match sholay. it is the best movie ever made.And i love it.
