An interesting ethical question I heard about on Paul Harvey today...

A 9 year-old girl named Ashley has the mental capacity of a 3 month old. She can't walk or talk. Her parents have decided that if they can keep her child-like they can provide a better life and more personal care. The ethics department of the University of Washington in Seattle has agreed to give her hormone treatments to keep her forever young. How do you feel about this? Is this tampering with nature? What would you do if she were your child?

I am assuming you are referring to stopping her period, I agree. Less chance some perv will impregnate her
