Wat u Think...The ultimate Song Of Rafi DA....

Well it's a pleasure to find a true music aficionado ,who persue music for music's sake .Also it's a nice surprise to come across a discussion regarding the best male playback voice That India ever had. Huge Congrates mate 4 this . Well noe come to think of it It's literally a tough job to pick only one as there are so many gems ,Still I guess my fav all time by Rafi Da has to be "Din Dhal Jaye Hai Raat Na Aaye " The song is a showcase of the amazing talent that this man was bestowed with. The renderation is absolutely perfect and so is the voice. The subtlety of this Sachin Da number is heard to be believed and not to mention the pangs of separation so beatifully woven in words by master poet Shailendra .A TRUE MASTERPIECE to the core.

He sang many ones which were great. Just to name one "Tu hi woh haseen hai......." But you cannot really say that one is better. All are great.

"AAj mausam bada baimaan" is one song I can listen to forever. Although I like all the songs of Rafi ji and am a big fan of his. There are certain songs which are very close to my heart. Aj mausam...is one such song. My other favorites are- baharon phool barsaon...., mere sapno ki raani...etc

i think its madhuban mein radhika nache re........... this classical song is very diff to sing and the way rafiji has sang it....my god its too good....

It is very difficult to select any one song of Rafi as the ultimate.One can list out at least a hundred songs which are all equally good ... I rate Madhuban mein Radhika . Suhani raat dhal chuki and Toote huye kwabon mein as great songs in their own way...But this doesnt mean that they are the greatest , there are many many more such gems of Rafi that delight all of us through the years...
