Would you help me evaluate my written work?

I've been working with Triond to start publishing my written work, and I've started a small collection of poetry, prose, and a short story so far on profile.
However, what I need is people to help me evaluate my work and I was hoping that someone here could help me do that...
Here is a url for you to check it in which it links to my short stroy I've written...

Also from that link, you can click on my name, and review other pieces of poetry I've written as well. I would really appreciate it if some of you could help me out with some comments or advice on how I can improve my writing and what would make it better.
Well, thanks for reading, and I hope to hear your comments on how my work is...

I'd be happy to do this, but are prepared for honesty? That's always a problem when you ask someone to look at your work, especially someone who doesn't know you and doesn't have any friendship with you. Let me know if you'd like me to check your stuff out on that basis.
I write on Triond too, by the way, and I've been writing articles and such for about twenty years, and have been published.

Actually that's the exact reason I did ask. I would prefer brutal honesty, whether good or bad, but as long as the comments would provide a reason why they liked it or not.
If someone just said, "It sucks!" and not provided a reason why or any constructive criticism why it sucked, then it really wouldn't help me any and I'd be more apt to ignore the comment.
But if someone said "It stunk, and here's why..." or "I don't like it because..." and provided a reason or reasons why, I'd really value it, even if they didn't like it and was very critical of my work. So by all means, please check out my work. I'd love to hear your comments!

You might want to look into forums specifically for writing. You're more likely to get an honest response there. Here, you're not going to get people with the training and experience to properly and critically review writing. You'll find a couple, but you'd do better getting feedback at a writing forum.
Good luck.
