I believe the Bible to be the ultimate word of the One and Only True God. The Bible says that homosexuality is wrong. Therefore, God would not create people in contradiction to His Word. It is a choice someone makes, they were not born that way.

great post misskatonic.... FINALLY someone who gets the real meaning behind those scriptures in the Bible which allegedly condemn homosexuality. What has happened with the Bible is that it has been translated into so many different languages that many of the words in the scriptures have totally different meanings than they did during the time the Bible was written.
Secondly: Why would we choose to be the victims of such hatred? We wouldn't. We didn't. When did straight people choose to be straight? they didn't!

What would you say if I told you that I do not believe God exists? How can I believe that being gay is a choice if I don't have any belief in a diety that supposedly passed word along to the authors of the Bible, stating that being gay is wrong? I do not believe in the Bible, it is simply a book that many have chosen to base their lives around. Being gay is not a choice; if you were gay, you would be well aware of this, but it seems quite clear that you are not.

By the way, are you gay? If not, you have no right saying that homosexuality is a choice.

Homosexuality is not a choice. If it were nobody would be gay. Do you honestly think there would be people wanting to experience all that anguish, embarrasment, and confusion? There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Gay people are not a mistake. If God says homosexuality is wrong then he is not God.
