I need to say this to everyone on MyLot...

I want everyone to know a few things about my discussions and posts eic. See what you think. When I am lucky enough to post discussion that gets several responses I love it and I read each and every one. I try to always comment, and sometimes we have a real conversation. Thats the part that is worth any money possibly made. Anyway sometimes this takes awhile. I may still be reading and commenting on one discussion when another post has taken on a life of its own. And some days I dont even get to sit down at the computer and that really slows me down. If someone responds to my discussion I usually comment, check out their profile, look at their discussions and respond if I can (unless it it just something that does not have anything to do with me and my interists and there is usually something). If we have simular interists I may check back or invite for a friend. I at least try to rate all my responses if nothing else. That helps people right? So I just wanted to say how it takes me a long time sometimes but I'm getting there. I hope that is acceptable and a ok/good way to do things here. Anyone else like that? Or have suggestions for better or more organized way? Thanks for any input.

I think your doing ok, it doesn't matter how you go about things so long as you are getting a lot from it as it looks like you are, you are doing it all for the right reason...:)

It does take time to read all of the discussions that we post and as we post more it gets harder and harder to reply , And trying to do both, respond to others as well as ones own is very time consuming. So we all understand that if we miss anyone it is the secretary that has not come back off holiday to assist us lol.

vow! well thanks for your perfection ,. me too think in this angle only . for me also the quanity is not a criteria. only quality that pay you the name of perfection. No body can measure the satisfaction and happiness getting from reading the posts/comments and further increasing the discussions with many mylot users. thanks to the well wishers. me too receeived many good responses and my it looks sound also to see all

well that is a great way to handle mylot discussion. I personally will answer any discussions that are started by my friends on my list and then go into the general discussion. I am nto on the puter that often either and i am on dial up so it takes me long to get a few done. Its also good to post on users who post to yours that way you are helping others like they are helping you. great discussions are what makes it worthwile so keep up the good work.+

I am not always able to be online either but I too try and at least give ratings to everyone that replies to my topics. I always find time to read them all but may not be able to respond to all comments due to being away from the computer often for other reasons. I am still trying to find a way to be more organized on myLot. I always try and think of something interesting and useful to other people on myLot.

Well, I have to admit that I like your strategy, I very often get distracted with posting new things and new discussions, rather than going back to my old ones, in order to continue. I blame mylot, since there is always something new to be discussed.

It sounds like you have a good system going don't change anything it is working for you. I myslef am just now starting to get a system down. When I first joined I thought that I would never get this. The first discussion I had that got a lot of responses made me feel overwhelmed, since I made it through that and have started on a system of my own I feel a lot better. You are doing great though.

i think u are right. ialso read all the comments to my discussions. but one thing i have noticed that, there may be lucky some who rules myLot. they have got so much responses. Another majir thing came to my notice that i get no response for discussions on technology. Do here ppl really avoid those?

I always try to give ratings, even if it's not a part of my own discussions, few as they may be. As everyone else has already said, it sounds like you're going about it the right way, I really wouldn't worry about it, I don't think anyone really notices.

I think you have the right idea, and basically a lot of this, is the same way I do it on here. I have met a lot of wonderful people, and even have taken time to get to know a little about thenm thru their posts even. It is interesting meeting so many diverse people here, and seeing what they really are about.

That is the way I do it too. I get up in the morning and take my shower. Then I log on and detangle my hair while I look for a discussion to join. I try to get back to my own discussions every few days to see how they are doing. I am here to have fun and discuss stuff, rather than trying to respond to every discussion and get lots of points for not saying anything meaningful.

Well, you are really lucky that everyone is responding to your discussion. But you too are right in posting comments and rating the discussion. Really it helps as a measuring parameter. Its is better to take long time to do the things but to perform in the best and the perfect manner.
