We need to get enough sleep in order for our bodies and minds to recover from the stresses of the day.
During sleep, our body recovers from any injuries faster, and it allows the mind to take a break, and process the numerous items of information it has had to deal with while awake.
Without sleep, healing time for injuries is greatly increased, and lack of sleep can easily lead to hallucinations and paranoia.
