You know what, I am not sure, I guess that it is just a normal part of my life now, so it doesn't bother me...It is just wonderful to have all of these animals..I have always said since I was a little kid that I was going to have many pets...And I guess that I stuck to my word... :)

Yes, once I had. Not now. As a pet rearer I could not tolerate my pets die before me. So I left the activity permanently.

I have a white dove, but she was never given a name. She belonged to my mother and I just took over caring for the bird. We have had her for about 10 years. My family has had a white dove as a pet among others ever since I was 19 but the strange thing about it is that she is the third dove that we have had and they way we came about them is odd. The first one we had for a few years before he got out of his cage, he seemed to just fall out of the sky right in front of us. It was only a few days after this loss that another dove just 'dropped' out of the sky, again right in front of us. This one also got out of its cage and flew away. The third and last dove, so far, came about in exactly the same way as the others practically landed at my feet. So we have had doves as unexpected pets for 22 years straight. Does anyone think this is some sort of sign or message. I know the dove is a symbol of peace.
