Geek Question... A question of design?

I'm just asking the question as I'm drawn to web sites mainly because of design reasons. I hate sites that are really busy and you can't find your way around the site easily. A good example of this is the search engine I use. I know about a lot of different search engines but my favourite is www.dogpile.com. I don't know why it's the one I always use, but I find it easy to use and it has a good clean design. Plus the dog is cute? It's easy to relate this question to search engines as we all use them. Do you use the same search engine all the time? If so, what one? Why do you use it, is it because of function or design or another reason? Any thoughts on web design out there?
