obviously Chitra singh. He has 70% of his duet songs with Chitra Singh and few songs are really good. I would keep Asha Bhosle at the second position. we have few good songs with Asha Bhosle. no. of songs are less with Asha in compare to Chitra, but songs with Asha are more hit.

no one in this world have the same musical charm either male or female but as far as duet is concerned ......alka yagnik is the best option

The best female singer along with Jagjit I have seen befitted is only one i.e. his wife Chitra Singh. She shares her joy and sorrows and life's all moments which makes them complimenting each other in their musical depiction as well. I have never felt that two persons are singing so well, as these two sing together.

Chitra Singh no doubt. Her voice both contrasts and complements Jagjit's voice. And furthermore with the experience they have together, they can catch a beat anytime and conver it into a song(I have seen that happen live). I believe they are the best singing couple ever

obviously chitra ji is the best who can company him . she has quality to sing ghazals. others also have sang but they have not fullfilled the crieteria.
