should adult content sites be banned...?

these days adult content is so easily available on the INTERNET as well as in VIDEO parlours. do you think this is helping our kids..? in my opinion not at all. these things shoud be taught to children but i feel at the right age. because if seen such contents when immature may lead to disasters.
