What would you do if you learn that your young teenager child is gay / lesbian ?

i would try to talk him/her out of it

This will only put a huge distance between the parent and the child and cause psychological damage to the child beyond repair. There is nothing to talk the child out of....nothing that needs to be cured or changed or whatever.

i would think they are the same person that i had loved all their life and i would continue to do so!
