Football of course is game better for health or may be the best game. But cricket is more interesting one. even though watching cricket requires investment of a lot of time, still people invest there whole day in watching it, means there is something in it. both of the games are really good but as per as health is concern, football is no doubt a better exercise.

Cricket
Cricket is a bat and ball sport, played between two teams of eleven players each. A cricket match is played on a grass field (which is usually roughly oval), in the centre of which is a flat strip of ground 22 yards (20.12 m) long, called a pitch. At each end of the pitch is a set of wooden stumps, called a wicket. A player from the fielding team (the bowler) propels a hard, fist-sized cork-centred leather ball from one wicket towards the other. The ball usually bounces once before reaching a player from the opposing team (the batsman), who defends the wicket from the ball with a wooden cricket bat. The batsman, if he or she does not get out, may then run between the wickets, exchanging ends with the other batsman (the "non-striker"), who has been standing in an inactive role near the bowler's wicket, to score runs. The other members of the bowler's team stand in various positions around the field as fielders. The match is won by the team that scores more runs.

Football is a two hour or a one hour game if i am not mistaken, whereas cricket its useally played for seven to eght hours(considering fifty ovbersa side. Both the games involves physical activity. Both the games are team games.Football involves mainly movement of legs whereas in cricket both hands and feet are made use of,be it bowling or batting, wicket keeping or even umpiring. In cricket players stand in the Sun for hours when it is sunny. One thing noticable between the two sports is that so far cricket matches have been stopped if ther is a huge downpour.Football matches on the other hand are played even in rain.

Both are good, but out of the two, I enjoy football (I'm assuming you're referring to American soccer, or British football) much more, reason being is because I can play it, and I've never played cricket, nor can I even follow along when I'm watchin it. It just looks like a weird, acid-tripped variation of baseball.

i think football is more good for health than cricket. in football u need to run a lot while only the batsmen have to run in cricket and bowlers too. the fielders just need to stand and wait and watch.

Yes Football is much better for health. There is a place for unfit players like David Boon and Ranatunga in Cricket but no one can imagine a fat player like them in football.
