hello everyone, just thought i would put this up for anyone who has had trouble with people trying to sell them stuff over the phone.I am so mad, I have had this sales person or so called, from the phone company called BT, he said he was from the billing dept. and wanted my bank details to start up a direct debit account and get three pounds a month off my phone bill,I told him over and over again i was happy with the way that i pay my bill and did'nt want to change in the end, i asked him to put it in writing and he said after they had set up the direct debit he would do that ,then i could cancel, what a load of tosh!ask for his name but was told I could'nt get in touch with him, probably because he was working from India, although its rude of me I thanked him for his time and hung up on him.if he wasn't so insistent i wouldn't have got mad, sorry for boring the pants off everyone but just wondered if others have the same problem

I used to yell at those tele-marketers but that never worked. Plus about 90% of the time I could not understand them anyways their accents are so so strong.
It's way beyond frustrating and more to the point of intrusion into my time and home.
Now I just answer the phone and let them talk. I will put the phone down and just walk away. They get the point and hang up eventually.

I try never to talk to salespeople over the phone, you do not even really know if they are from the company they say, if I am interested in what they have to offer I ask them to post the details through the mail, although most of them I just say no to and hang up.
