I hated it. It's a very bad ripoff of a really beautiful movie. See the original--Wings of Desire. City of Angels is just cheap Hollywood sentimentality.

Really? I've never heard of that movie, but thank you for the info :) Perhaps it is that I like Meg Ryan, that I went for this one haha

even though i don't believe in angels or gods. I do love this movie because of the sacrifice the angel did so he can be with the woman that he loves.

I really really really like this movie. I don't really know how it was written, or why it was what it at the end became. But it seems to me as if it was just embracing life. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I always remember it. One of the few dramas I enjoy.
