yes i have seen it.
shri Ramanand Sagar’s swift strides in the movie world intensified his stamina and vigor to produce a Herculean, magnum opus – an artistic and sanctimonious creation that surpassed all his earlier conceptions.
The Ramayan is the story of Ram, the prince who was God. The Ramayan is the great and glorious Indian Epic that has been treasured for over 10,000 years. Enshrining ideals that are ageless. Teaching lessons that are timeless. Telling stories that are enduring. Embodying truths that have withstood the test of time.
The 78-episode Television software shows rose in popularity of giddy heights when the country’s young generation was silently, unconsciously moving towards the vices of modern age. "RAMAYAN" arrived on the scene when the country’s older generation was gripped with the fear of traditional India moving in the clamps of Kalyug.
As a soothing spiritual balm – The entire Nation stopped ….. turned … and looked back with pride at our culture, our traditions and heritage of pure ethics and hallowed principles – RAMAYAN championed the victory of good over evil and boasted of noble virtues. The serial was portrayed in a most aesthetic manner and carried a lot of devotional value for the Indian viewer. Such was the phenomenon of Ramayan that often during the telecasts the streets always wore a deserted look.
To put in words of Mr. Alipeter John of Screen magazine " …. Ramanad Sagar …. Who was given up to die as a T.B. Patient once, was born to fulfill a God given mission. He was not born to make all those Enumerate films which have made him Ramanand Sagar, the well-known writer and film maker. He was born to make Ramayan in Kalyug, at a time when it was needed the most. …."
if i have given a chance i really love to see it...
