Laptop or desktop? Brand name? What do you like about it? What do you dislike? What will you change when you upgrade?

Mine's an Acer Laptop, and I really like it.
It's quite basic, but it does just fine for me!
I changed to this, from a desktop (which my dad's using now), a few months ago, and I'm really glad I did. It comes in handy if I need to head to bed, after chemo.. I can take my laptop with me now!

Yeah, I have a desktop right now, and was thinking of doing the same, for the same reasons.

I got my laptop before I was diagnosed with the liver secondaries (and so before I knew I needed more chemo).. Mainly because it took up less space (which I don't have alot of, in my room!) than a desktop. But also because I'd wanted a laptop for ages.
To be honest, I don't often move it from my desk. But it's nice to have that option, if I want to.

I have a desktop computer I have built by myself, so I can't say I don't like anything about it. I love it. It is like a baby to me.

i have a desktop computer. i prefer to assemble my own custom build computer so that i can make it as powerful as i want and put what parts i want in it and it is also alot cheaper. i am satisified that my computer is reasonably fast, 64 bit processor, 1GB ram, powerful video card etc. when i upggrade, i would put in a dual core processor
