Kaarthick or Dhoni

Dhoni is a powerful hitter but in test matches those who can bat longer with better technique can survive. Kaarthich seems to be the guy who can bat with technique.
I think dhoni should play One-dayers and kaarthich should be selected as test match keeper.
what would be ur choice?

Dhoni has a good eye but lacks proper balance and technique. So he will perform well as long as he can spot the ball well.
Karthick has solid technique but isnt as good a stroke maker as Dhoni(as of what we have seen). But his domestic rapport is of a good hitter so my money is on karthick.

Your point is valuable, but you should analyze both ! See dhoni comes @ position 5/6 in test matches so why india not send him as opener ??? at least try dhoni for 2/3 test matches to see what happens ! however yes there is no other wicket keeper in the world better than dhoni in one days!

One thing i forgot to add was kaarthick is better keeper then dhoni and most acknowledge this on TV and considering form of Indian batsman i think both can play as batsman as well
