Why did they prosecute saddam hussain all these days even though they captured him long back during the war itself.
Every oneknows that he is an assasin and killed many people and why cant US gov kill him straight away when they caught him. wha tis the necessary to prosecute him on all these days simply taking care of him in the prison..
If they had given the death sentence early itself many car blasts have been stopped and many lives can be saved

Well, I can't say I disagree with you. He should have been shot as soon as they found him. But, if America had done that, the world would have been upset and whine some more about America being controlling and blah blah blah. So, justice was allowed to be followed through with, and fortunately, it turned out the right way.
