all of us have many friends and acquaintances. but do u sometimes think of whats the difference of it. for me an acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every now and then, who you probably have somthing in common with and who you feel comfortable around while a friend is someone who stop u from making mistakes and help you when you do. they are the people whose hand you can hold, or you can hug or give them a kiss and not have it be awkward because they understand the things you do and they love u for them.

For me, an acquaintance is someone you know and who knows you you also while a friend is someone you know and who knows you also, well. You may or may not trust an acquaintance, while in friendship there is trust. You share a lot of things with a friend. You tell your friend your secrets, goals, and fears. Things you just do not open up to a mere acquaintance.
