When did you first realize there was not a Santa?

I was wondering if you remember when and how you discovered there was not a Santa. I honestly do not remember when I found out. I guess I should ask my mother. I think this is the last year my oldest will believe. I look forward to hearing your stories.

I don't remember either. I don't think we're even close to that age though since my dd will only be 6 next year.

I'll never forget it. I was 9 years old. sometimes on christmas's we went to see Santa more than once. One day I asked my parents how come when we go see Santa 2 or 3 times we don't get 2 or 3 of the same gifts? that's when they told me.
