AMD processors are better if you are a gamer as the processor can bare more stress than an intel processor[not talking about core2duo].In an independent survey it was found a AMD processor can run for 18 days with optimum stress levels but intel processor was changed 3 times. You may say who will use it for 18 days but it says whats reliable and what not.Intel is the best but AMD IS Better then the best

it was atime when AMD processors were as good as Intel(or maybe better than) and cheaper. but now things are changed. I work in IT and I saw everyday the difference

what would you say about Intel D Processor 900 series? Or about Dual core 2 Duo processors? I saw a demosntration, a comparation between AMD Turion and a dual core 2 duo processor. The AMD processor had no chance in front of that intel processor... Don't misunderstood me... I'm not an Intel fanatic. I have 2 comp at homer: AMD Duron 1300Mhz(old and noisy) and AMD Sempron 2600+(not so old)

i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because
--comparatively cheap
--high performance
--high stabilty
--greater support for gaming
i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing. It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2.
thank you!

Well of course in nowadays Intel is the best when it comes to CPU performance, has greater cache, works on specified frequency and is quite stable, instead AMD processors are weaker than Intel. Me? I prefer Intel, but now I have 2 PC's in the house both of them are AMD (Athlon XP 2200+, and Sempron 2800+). AMD is a better when it comes to gaming.
