I have four dogs,one six week old puppy and thirteen cats. I could care less what people think of me. Yes, its a lot of work but I wouldn't have it any other way. If people don't like my house, then they don't have to come over. I think animals should be in the house. I think it is kind of cruel to leave your dog outside.

I have 4 dogs (all large or giant breeds), a cat, a lizard and 5 fish in the house. The ones that make the biggest mess is the goldfish, hubby is always cleaning their tank or they stink! Why have animals if you are going to make them stay outside? They should be part of the family. Ours think they have the same privelages as the kids (2 and 4yo) do. They play dress up with the kids, and they usually mind better than the kids, lol. The dogs go everywhere with us, in every room we are in they are in. When we go running around they jump in the back of the Jeep ready to go too, they all know their spots in the vehicle. (No we don't take them if they will be left in the vehicle for extended period of time, or it's hot)So just keep doing what you are doing you know that you are the one that is right! I don't think your house would stink or be messy, but I do think it might be a tad noisy, lol. My dad has one bird and he gets pretty loud, I can only imagine 6! Good luck with all your babies!

I think there is nothing wrong with how many animals you have in your home. after all they are like children to most of us. i couldn't imagine making them stay outside. as long as you keep the house clean after them, there is no reason not to have them inside with you.

why have the animals if you're going to banish them outside? i don't understand people like that either. I love animals, my sister has 8 dogs, a parrot, 2 cats, and a pig...even the pig used to live in the house until he got waty, way too big, and her house doesn't stink! for all of us who love our animals as our own children, thank you

haven't you heard.. that the love is blind . Lovers don't believe that is said about their partners. They are like wearing those rose tinted glasses all the time. When it breaks down it hurts them like anything, sometimes they fall mentally ill also getting shocked. That will not be like your shock, she'll suffer more but oneday that'll happen . Being between the devil and the deep blue sea, you can't do anything. Just forget about it and let her face it by herself. When she asks for help at that time give it. For now keep away.

Well, everybody has the right for his own opinion. I would never keep so many animals in my flat. But I have a small flat. Maybe I wouldn't keep them because I wouldn't spend so much time for looking after them, like you. I do not like to clean neither... Probably that person is like me.. :)

its in human psycology to judge what ever in the way. dont mind that and keep up the good work. intentions are more important than the work we are doing.

Pet owners have the decision if they want their pets in the house or not. It also is the owners choice if he dont want his house to stink...Clean pets would be ok to keep inside the house...

looks like you are very pet lover. that is really nice to see. it doesn't always mean that if you have so many pets in your house, then house ill be mess. i think most of the time house get an extra good look dure to pet, isn't it ..? i love see two-three cute dogs moving around the rooms. he should not comments like that. you could have invite him to visit your house, then he would realise.

Well, animals do mess but if you are a cleaning after them then your house should look like you don't even have pets. People tend to judge something before they see it, it's in our nature :)

i do not really enjoy to have pets and not in my house. i do love to see them but i do not know, may be i just don't want to spend much time of take care of them like what other people did. it is wasting of time. better for me to spend those time shopping or with my friends rather than with the animals. Sorry. i just dont have that sense of animal-loving.But i respect you can handle all the pets.

I love pets, they can make you happy when you're sad.. I don't like birds though, too much noise.

wow that sounds like a full job right there! ^_^; but yea that person was wrong to think that your house stinks just be cause you have 6 birds and 2 dogs plus a cat!

People shouldnt criticize other animal lovers unless they're abusive towards their pets,your house is probably just fine , and people online just love to be highly annoying.*hugs to your animals*

I have 2 dogs, and many people think they stink too.. when they actually do see, they actually are surprised to actually realise they smell nice.. I think it all boils down to misperceptions.. what we as dog lovers can do is to gradually change their opinions about our babies..

Well to honestly answer your question, animals do get stinky sometimes, and you would have to be bleaching and refreshing a lot to keep your house clean. So yea I would think your house was as fresh as it could be. And I would never live with a dog they naturally have a funny smelling odor that I just cannot deal with

Oh dear I believe this is too much in one house, no I do not think necessarily that your home would stink just because of the animals in your home. Yes some people just jump to conclusions that is why they open their mouths without knowing the facts.
