I am just taxed out. The government taxes us like five times for the same dollar. They tax you when you get paid, they tax you when you spend it. They tax your property and your cars. I am begining to think my proprty doesn't really belong to me at all I rent it from the government every year when I pay my taxes. And if I don't pay it well they will take it away. Florida doesn't have a state tax. Why can Florida afford to do all they need to do with out a state tax and other states can't? It's because they are all just sitting around lineing thier fat pockets with our money. GRRRR!!! What do you guys think? We have got to do something to stop these criminals from taking our hard earned money everytime we turn around. If we don't they are just gonna keep raising and raiseing the taxes until we have another revolution on our hands.

One reason why the colonies revolted against the British Crown was because of taxation without representation. Today, our own federal government is getting as bad. Such things as the gasoline tax, which is suppose to be used to fund the construction and repair our roads and highways. Instead, politicians see these fund sitting there in and decide to 'borrow' from it to support some other 'pork belly' project that will benefit their district, and ultimately, some political supporter of theirs. Other things are happening within this country which are bringing it close to anarchy or totalitarianism. Our rights in bearing arms is slowly being chipped away so that we, as citizens of the United States, cannot rise up and overthrow our government! In comparison to the Roman Empire, the United States is considered to be in it's 'twilight' phase, meaning that within 100 years, this government could probably fail.

Thanks for the respone and I totally agree our government will fail and our country and economy will be right along with it. I don't know if we would be salvagable.

Texas doesn't have a state INCOME tax, but the sales tax and property taxes are higher here than some other states.

Do you think it is better this way or would you just rather pay state taxes? I think it's unfair all together.
