I have a dream to start my own business called The Country Clerk. I must say I am scared to death to try it. I have tried to sit down to draw up a business plan but everytime I do, I talk myself out of it. Am I alone with this problem?

What is the nature of work? Who are going to be your clients? What is the cost of operation? What are the equipments you need to have home office? How much will be your monthly earning? If you contact a Chartered Accountant he will be able to answer these questions based on your feed back. After working out economics, you can decide whether worthwhile doing it or not. If you want to do business, you have to take calculated risk.

I think that is my main fear is the risk. Also, I am thinking of putting out a survey to several different types of businesses to get a feel on how a home clerical business in my area would work out.

I want to start a home clerical type of business. I have an Associate in Applied Business. I know several computer programs that would help me out in this venture.
