First off, what operating system are you using? Windows 98 and Windows ME are notorious for virtual memory problems. Virtual memory is considered to be 1.5 times larger than your RAM memory, so if your total RAM is 512 MB, your virtual memory is 768 MB. With Win98 and WinME, when you close programs and websites, they are not closed within your virtual memory, that's why you get the error. The only way to clear this out is to reboot. Windows 2000 and Windows XP has rectified this problem. Adding more RAM will not completely remove this inconvience, but it will happen less often.
