Yes. I'm from the Philippines and I think we got more paranormal stuff going around here than anywhere else. I mean, it's part of our culture--even in a college curriculum!
Ouija boards are popular here among high school kids. I've heard about spirit of the coin, of the pen too-variants of the board.
I've seen numerous tv specials of possessions after playing with those, allegedly letting out an omen and one of the players getting possessed.
Voice changes, super-strength and delusions are what they get after.
If you're interested in that, better read on protection chants first. I never believed in that but you know, if you're delving onto something new, better be on the safe side.

That's the only problem. Kids are intrigued by them and want to 'play' with them. They are not a game! and when you play with what you know nothing about, bad things can happen.
Spirit boards can be a joyful and enlightening thing if you use them wisely.

I have a Ouija board, and would NOT recomend it for a novice. Bad things can, and do, happen. Please study spiritual practices for about 10 years before trying such a thing, or be guided by an experianced spiritual leader. I know you're going to ignore me and go ahead and do it anyways, but please take caution.

I had one as a teenager and used to use it with my friends until it started to freak me out and I literally took it to a dumpster away from my house. I don't like them personally

Having your palm read is no big deal, my aunt is a psychic and knows all about it. Your hands change constantly depending on things going on in your life (stress, etc...) and that is shown on your hands. A palm reader can look at it and be able to determine how events may turn if things continue as they are going.

I believe in them, heard bad stories about them, but never owned or tried them. I would like to watch people use them though.

I sure do. I actually own one as does my mum. I ordered both of them from overseas. Before I had the board, I actually conducted my seances with just a glass and I had letters, numbers and yes/No cut out of paper arranged in a circle.
I quite often have seances with friends who want to contact someone on the other side or with my family to contact family members on the other side. Some people believe that Ouija boards are evil etc.... but I don't believe so. I believe that it is just a tool for me to use to contact spirits until such time as other 'gifts' are more focused.
I always use my Ouija board when I am in a good state of mind and always with the best intentions.
I have never had a negative experience using my ouija board.
