My Children Our My Heros

I have had enough of the media telling our children that sports players, music artist and actors are the people to emulate in their lives! Our children deserve better role models, their parents, their church, thier play groups and family members that take the time and interest to show them what morality, hard work and honesty does to truly enrich their lives in a meaningful way that is not judged by beauty, athletic abilty or scantily clad pop stars!! It is time to step up to the plate and take our children BACK!!! My children are my hero's becuase they are all of our futures!!! Cherish them and teach them what being a true hero means!

I completely agree with you. When I was growing up I idolized my uncle and my mom thank god. I never looked at anyone in the media as my hero. I looked up to them but never called them a hero
