Stay at home or go to work?

I am a stay at home mother of 2 children. I want to know what people think about that. Sometimes I want to get out and get a job, and then I think about daycare and not being with my kids. I think that I would miss out on a lot of things my children do. But I miss the face to face adult conversations.

Personally, I think raising your kids is the most important job you'll ever have, but I understand the need for adult conversation. When so many women work, you can't visit with your neighbor or call a friend just to talk the way people used to do.
Maybe you could join a group or volunteer somewhere on a day when your husband is at home to watch the kids?

Maybe just get a part time job. Something to get you out of the house for a little bit and make some extra cash. There are a lot of jobs where you can choose your hours. If the kids are school ages go to work while they are in school
