Ice Cream Makers?

As y'all know we were asking for event recommendations for our local event planner. Well today she put out a list of events going on and in one of the events there adding a ice cream competition. We'd love to enter this but have a question we thought y'all might be able to help with. What homemade ice cream maker do you use? Where did you buy it from? Is it easy to use? Whats your overall opinion of it? Please no one word responses. I'll read and rate each response. I'll try to answer where I can but want to say thanks in advance for any responses.
