No body would give the job if they can do it economically cheaper in their country. In India there are lots of people who know english and labour cost is cheaper. In terms of dollars, the payment what Indians receive is higher than what they can earn in India. Hence the question of good or bad does not arise here. Like India, these jobs are outsourced by US to countries like Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and other countries.

But my question was is it good or bad for Americans who are losing jobs everyday. I agree with you that its cheaper for corporates to outsource but for common people its hard if some foriener is working on his/her job.
