We purchased a wireless electronic fence for our dogs to keep them at home. We have a roamer & a runner. It has proven to be the best purchase we have made. They stay in their at home without any problems, unless the battery on their collar dies & they realize it. The wireless fence also makes it portable - we did not have to bury anything. What a wonderful invention & way cheaper than actually putting up a fence! Does anyone else have one?

I have thought about getting one but haven't yet. I have four dogs and they are inside most of the time. My boyfreind built them a fence out of pallets that he got for free. It serves its purpose but its not pretty.lol. Can I ask how much it costs?

Ok, thanks. Maybe I'll look into it as my pallet fence probably won't last much longer.

I guess it is a good itemifyou don't mind your dog being zapped each time it leaves the yard. I personally could never do that to my dog!

Living in a remote location where neighbors have wolf traps in their yards, it is for their own safety. Our dogs are not "zapped" each time they leave the yard or go beyond their boundary, their collars beep. That is enough to remind them to return inside the boundary.

No we don't have one. We don't need one right now. My dogs are small and well they aren't runners so guess we got lucky. I have 3. One can be by our side no matter where we go. The others will for the most part...lol but when is time to go back in there may be a lil chasing.
