I recently found out that I am eight weeks pregnant and I was curious as to what peoples opinions regarding adoption and keeping the child.
I live with the babys father and we are still in a relationship. He seems very excited to be a father and is looking forward to having the baby. I'm still unsure.

Hi katie :) It's a bit surreal when you find out you're pregnant, isn't it? I remember that feeling and I understand completely that you would be unsure and probably pretty nervous too? You've just gotten this life-altering news and you haven't had a chance to process it yet.
I think it's definitely a positive thing that you are living with the baby's father and he seems excited about the baby. Give yourself a bit of time to adjust. If, after thinking things through, you have concerns about having a baby at this early stage in your life, then you will know that you have choices to consider. Along with the baby's father, you'll need to determine what is best for the two of you and this unborn child.
You asked about people's opinions on adoption... personally, I think it's a very viable and loving thing to do for a child that cannot be raised by the birth mother/parents. It's certainly something you could consider.
But, before anything else, I hope you can take some real deep breaths and come to terms with the idea of being pregnant. Then, if need be, you will be able to make decisions from a calm and peaceful place. That will be better for all of you. Good luck katie :)

Well, hopefully everything goes well.
I highly doubt that dan would leave me. He's just not that type of guy and he seems really happy with me....
It does seem surreal...like its hard to believe that I actually am pregnant....it just dosent seem real...
