I believe in re incarnation. But I'm not sure what people actually mean it entails in human life.
What I believe is that people who die are re-born again. And depending on their past life, they may start off life in a positive or negative way (some children being born in poor/abusive families, what have you and others being born in good homes and decent families). But after you're born, all bets are off. The circumstances you're born with may be due to your past life/experiences/actions, but right now and here is upto you. You then live your life to the best of your ability and try your best to be as good a person as possible.
And for me, I also believe that when a person becomes self-aware to a point - spiritually speaking, they may then go beyond reincarnation to.. who knows? Heaven? Something better than being reborn in this world? Something along those lines.
This is not a particularly Hindu belief (Hindu belief itself has several theories after all), but this make sense to *me*.

I do .. and yet I don't .. !!
It would be nice to think there is 'something' after this life, I'm not sure what, but something .. otherwise it's a pretty short time we have .. and most of mine has been messed up with being ill and disabled, so I got a shabby deal if this is all we have ...
But then if there is something, why hasn't it been discovered by now, what can it be .. and why is it so secretive, why can't we know ahead of time ...
I think it's one of those questions where the more you ponder on it the more questions you have to be answered ..

You do realize that the bible was written by men, right?
It is also a matter of historical record that throughout history, as a new pope was elected, they often had the content of the Bible edited to his liking.
At one point in time, there was much mention of re-incarnation in the bible, but I believe Pope Igantuis (I may have the wrong one, I'm not catholic) found it offensive and had it removed.

I do believe in reincarnation. I have been reading, "Children's Past Life Memories" and I swear anybody who reads it cannot possibly NOT believe in reincarnation. She even includes biblical evidence of reincarnation. One child in the book actually solved his own murder upon his return to earth in a new body. There are hundreds of documented cases where children knew things only the deceased person could have known, led people to places they had never been, identified belongings that were in a group among other belongings, and so forth. The stories in that book are totally amazing and they will totally rock your world if you think reincarnation is of the devil and stuff, you will find a whole new perspective. One boy knew his wife from a previous life, sending her on a journey of discovery for herself. When I was a baby I remember the frustration of knowing things and trying to tell them and they came out baby talk and I recall very vividly the day I realized it is supposed to work that way so by the time I can communicate well enough, the memories will be gone. I tried hard to hang on to my memories, but I felt them slipping away day by day, and I only have small glimpses but one of those glimpses is between lifetimes and it is an awesome thing, knowing I was part of a group of souls and I chose to break free and come back and I chose my parents. I remember this and the book talks of children saying this same thing, so that validates my memories for me. Nobody could ever convince me there is no reincarnation.

No, I do not believe in reincarnation. My religion teaches against it. I believe when we die that we go on the next phase of Heavenly Father's plan and that is not comeing back to earth as something else. That is not what the bible teaches and I do believe the bible
