MY city Pune where I reside is a plethora of sobriquets. common among them are pensioner's paradise, QUeen of the Deccan,Oxford of the East,Cultural capital of Maharashtra. Bieng surrounded by mountains and Sinhagad fort it has a temprate climate. It has a history of about 1000 years of more. remains of anicent civilisation have been unearthed near the banks of mutha river that flows through the heart of the city dating back to 950 BC . The population of Pune has been increased from 2.5 million in 1991 to 3.5 million at present covering an area of 400Km.

I don't live in the city , I live in the country and at most there would only be maybe a couple of thousand people if that . I am not real good with numbers so chances are there might not even be that many of us . Pretty much everyone knows everyone else and if you don't know someone you are guaranteed that someone you know , knows them .
