Why do we believe in God?

Do we believe, because we are told to believe?
Do we believe because we are not sure what to believe?
Do we believe because there is nothing else to believe?
Do we believe because "not believing" would make our life meaningless?

We believe because we are told to believe. We are told to believe by our parents, by religious leaders, by society, by our peers, by all the people who are afraid to die and hope and pray that there is a God. We are told to believe by people who feel superior, when they judge us, for not believing what they believe. We are told to believe by people who are too narrow minded to think for themselves.

Human beings are always in search of an explanation to every phenomenon happenning around him. For some of those he finds a logical explanation. For some others he is unable to find one. So he is forced to believe that a supernatural force must be acting thata is beyond his realm of undersanding. This is the force that people are worshipping as god.

All you have to do is look around you!
How could there not be a God!
Look at the sky, the stars, a rainbow, butterflies...etc..
How could there not be a GOD...
