lockdown in iraq

what is the deal with the lockdown/curfew in iraq? Do you know what its about? and do you think its needed?

The lockdown in Iraq is for the safety of the Civilians and the Coalition Forces. Most of the enemy activity is at night and with curfew in effect it helps eliminate the civilians being on the road. Which means most of the people that are out and about after the curfew is usually up to no good. I think it is very important to have this curfew in effect.
