Why is everything so expensive in Canada?

I would really like to know why!! I am living here and hardly affording it. I work hard, make a decent living, and yet still, find things extremely over priced here. When I go to the US to do shopping, which i do 2-3 times a month now, I am amazed at home cheap things are down there. We have to spend up to three dollars for one dozen eggs here, and at walmart in USA they cost 88 cents. So I could get 3 for the price of 1 here. That is only the tip of the iceberg. Clothing is cheaper there. The outlet stores there are actually outlet prices!! Our outlets here are just a marketing gimmick!! I dont find any cheaper than going to the actual store!! You can buy a pair of nike shoes in USA for under $30 here, that is unheard of, at the bare minimum would have to be $50. I am sick and tired of it, and this is why I REFUSE to spend any money here in Canada...I dont care if it is my country, I am boycotting the stores here!! Everyone else should follow this too, maybe we can force our government to lower our prices!!!Q
