I love them! Wish I could have more. I have a boy named Riot.

I used to have a chinch! He looked like yours and his name was Peppy (for reasons that would be obvious to you!). We just had fun watching him run around because the cat, wondering what the heck that was that just raced passed by him, would trot over to see where he went. And as little Peppy ran across the room, bounced off of the couch, and the wall, then headed straight back at the cat ("Yikes!", the cat would say!), then would make like a 90 degree turn right in front of him and keep scampering along on his merry way! Oh, what fun that was! Thanks for the memories! Aloha!

I will have to come see him when we're in town next. I didn't know you had one. That's cool! I can't access your page for some reason but I'll try again.

I figured it out. It was your mylot page. I just had to move the page over because you got all those pics. I didn't see the scroll bar at the bottom at first. Go figure.

no i do not own a chinchilla but you do lol. But anyways yes i agree with the whole depression on the fluffy creatures. They just get so lonely and have nothing but their fur, and their fat.
but thats ok, a chinchilla is a chinchilla.

aww I had a chinchilla called Tobermorey, He was absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately I had him when I didnt have a digital camera so no pics of him. He had a problem with his teeth, the vet had to keep putting him to sleep to file his teeth down but he just got iller and iller and in the end, vet said its best to not bring him round again.
I would love to have another chinchilla, I think they're an ideal pet and I WILL persuade hubby to let me have another when my son is a little older. Lovely picture by the way

What a coincidence! I have two chinchillas and one of their names in Gizmo too, but without the "e" at the end. Yes they are very social animals and they get lonely very quickly. They love to see me when I get home from work. They make the best pets and they're very loyal animals.
