At what age do you want to retire or semi-retire from work or from your business? What will make you say to yourself that now is the time to enjoy the fruit of your labor?

I am hoping to retire at the age of 50 or so. But I know that probably won't be possible at all. Maybe I will get lucky and strike it rich sometime before then

I'm shooting for age 55 to retire since that is the minimum age requirement at the company I work for. They tend to permanently lay off the more seniored workers, and having 18 years seniority, I hope I don't end up being one of them. I would like to take my 401K money, retirement and the money I will save from my house being paid off, and move somewhere very warm at least for the winter (I live in Michigan). 8-1/2 more years to go! Woooo Hooo!!
