Do you really think the universe is about 15 billion years old ?

Hey, I cant get this. Scientists say the studies indicate the universe is 10 billion year old, and tommorrow they say, its about 30 billion years. If that research is so much uncertain, why say it at all, until you get the very certain answer? does not 10 billion and 30 billion does not make a difference to the scientists? (may be if they talk abt these billions, they hope to earn the billions, who knows?)

well i clearly agree that the age of the universe cannot be determined becaus there is not a single proof to determine its age may be the theory of evolution can give the approximate idea but to detrmine the exact age its out of someone reach
