Why do boys NEVER flush???

Maybe some of you guys out ther can shed some light on this for me!! I have 8 nephews and one niece..... every time the boys stay here... they think if they don't do #2 they don't have to flush!!! I do have a son and he never did that ('cause I wouldn't allow it, I suppose)... but does this mean that he did it elsewhere??? I'm asking this laughing... boys will be boys... but it's very annoying! :)

My ex's sons would do that all the time, drove me absolutely nuts, but luckily I had my own bathroom. Maybe they think because it's liquid form that it's okay to leave it since it's "similar" (in terms of male thinking) to the water in the bowl? lol It's just gross, and I'll never understand it. I finally got them to stop, but it took some fighting, not to mention several years of it. Not even the ex could figure out why the wouldn't flush, since he always does.
