Did John Lennon ever planned on reuniting the beatles?

He and Paul had reconciled. They were together in New York City watching Saturday Night Live the night that SNL's producer Lorne Michaels did the skit where he said he'd pay each Beatle the "fantastic" sum of $700 if they'd reunite. McCartney said he and Lennon thought about hopping in a taxi and riding to the studio and showing up during the show, but then decided not to. From everything I've read, however, John never considered reuniting with The Beatles as "The Beatles." They all pretty much had gotten on with their lives and felt The Beatles had gone out on top and didn't want to ruin that.

Yes, in fact it is true. It was when George was playing on Saturday Night Live and Paul was in town visiting John at the Dakota residence. As it were, John and Paul were going to cab it downtown and make an appearance but something happened and they did not do it. Last minute, 'nahs'. I think, by guessing, it might have been Paul because Paul and George were sort of in a row at the time, so... Of course I was not there but I read it somewhere. It's interesting how things might have turned out. The 3 of them there...I could just imagine!

NO, I don't think he ever planned on anything. He liked to just let things happen as they would. There is a video clip somewhere on youtube will someone interviewing John and asking him that same question and he said that He would not rule it out as anything is possible, but that he had no plans on reforming the band but if it happened he would enjoy it!

SOME PEOPLE SAY: There was the thing, that they were planning to work together,but one day Paul came without permission and John Got annoyed for this.... Some say that since Paul left, this was the very last time they saw each other!!! Paul used to call John , but Yoko did not put him on the telephone calls.... Paul wanted to help John with the sessions of Double fantasy!!!!! We don´t know exactly.......but when Tony Levin came to Mexico he said in an interview this: " It took me 10 years to get up for the murder of John Lennon!!! ....Yeah, we have been planning a World Tour in January 1981 that would be touring for 9 months!!! All of Us were so Happy for this You Know!!!!" Other thing happened,though!!!
