I recently started playing the Sims as I prefer not to blow things up and shoot things.
I read an article that more and more women 30+ are gaming. I wonder if this is going to change the direction of games in the future.
I love the Sims before that I was playing Tetris!

I love playing the sims2. Its about the only computer game I play. I just got two new expansions for christmas. I am a 42 year old woman. I have been playing it for many years. I bought the original game for my son but I kind of took it over.

For the computer, my favorite is StarCraft. Actually, StarCraft is the only computer game I play. I'm more of a console person. StarCraft is real-time strategy. Collect resources, build armies, kill all the aliens. I do like to blow #$%^ up in my games. :)
On the PS2, there are a couple of sorta non-violent games that I enjoyed profusely. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. In Ico you're a young boy who gets condemned by his village and is exiled. He finds a girl trapped in a castle by a witch, and decides to get her out. In Shadow of the Colossus, a young man travels to a foreign land to talk to a god there about resurrecting a girl. To do that, he must kill several colossi. They're both gorgeous games.
