Well, to me it looks fake. It's way to clean. More like a really good home made prop to me. They could have at least smeared some mud on it.
Do you have a story on this, I would love to read a bit on it.

Myths are said to be myths. But I can't say that a 'merman' do exists or not. There's always a possibility. No one knows. Maybe this is one issue that science cannot explain. For me, there's a little percentage that I do believe in creature like the one in the picture.
