i disagree with arayanlovex.india does not have lack of infrastructure.man bcci is the richest board in the world and though the is a lot of corruption in bcci they do spend a lot of money on player's.india's first class cricket is the best in the world.now coming to the topic,i think india's loss is caused by many reasons.
1.indian seletors (only in the third match)
2.the indian batsman.most of them r out of form.they r not playing to thier full potential(like ganguly he is the best batsman in india right now but heis not utilizing he good starts he is getting.sehwag is also out of form.i think he should bat at no.7 as he is having difficulty facing the new ball andif he get's the some run's there the it will give him confidence.
3.dravid is not showing mark's of a good captain.the was very late taking the new ball.
4.MR.capple. i do not know what the hell he is coaching.
5.so many loses has decreased the team's moral.

yes ur thinking is right, but due to extra internal response by own self of each player, the Indian team comes to loose any match.so The Indian Team has to require get confidence and go for figft as a thinking of same level teams...

the biggest cause is the experimentation by the indian coach Greig Chappel..he has made many changes in the batting order which has made the batting order so week that india nowdays hardly crosses 200 mark even in test matches

i think complacency is the most important cause. other causes are too much experimentation, too much chopping and changing of players.

The main reason for losing match is our cricketers to focus more on practice then going for parties and just think about money signing some contracts, walking on ramp ect.

hey
sorry to just distract you but you know what i would like to say that now india is at the peak of its what we say bad form and it is not only that any of the one person is responsible for it.
whether the qestion is:
Q.should sourav be made the captain of the team?
Q.is sourav giving the team what people were expecting after his come back?
Q.sehwag is not playing good?
Q.tendulkar out of form?
Q.dravid took this or that decision wrong?
Q.the coach is not good?
Q.the coach is more a politician?
Q.wrong decision of the board of taking this bowler in the team whereas the other one was required?
Q.coach taking gangully case personal?
......
and many mre
do not you people think that all what is happening is not good and what these people are doing is just decreasing their world cup chances?
do not you think that it is not the problem with one person whole team is responsible?
wrong strategies,bad form...
what is this
is this what indian team has to show to the world that we are the one?

failure of the indian cricket team is thier poor performance in batting. no doubt they performed well in the first test but whats the use again they have proved that they get complacent when they win just one test.
