What movies are you looking forward to in 2007?

Yes, it's only a week in to the new year, but I'm already anxiously anticipating some movies that are due out later this year. Like half the planet, I can't wait for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It's either going to be the best one yet, or I'm going to weep with despair. I'm also looking forward to Stardust, based on Neil Gaiman's novel of the same name, and The Golden Compass, based on the first book from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series.
Which movies are you looking forward to in 2007? And tell me something about them, don't just say, "good topic, I want the last pirates movie!" LOL :-)

I can't wait to see "ex-drummer" a belgian movie that will be released in january. The trailer and previews look promising.

I'm really looking foward to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as well. I hope they keep it true (or as close as possible) to the book. I was greatly disappointed in Goblet. Though I still love it. Other than that movie...we'll see when their previews come.

I was disappointed in Goblet as well. I think that Prisoner has been the best of them so far. And since Phoenix is my favorite book of the series, I'll take it rather personally if they mess it up, lol.

I was a bit disappointed in Prisoner even. But just a litte. I still love it of course but I some changes I felt were again unnessary. My favorite of the movies is the first one. And the books was the last Prince and Phoenix.

the movie that i am lookng forward in 2007 is hapy feet and i think it would be a nice movie. i always like animated movies and there is also one more reason and that is that i am in to the same field. yes i am an animator and so i liek to watch animated moveis and i learn a lto from them. even i like the lion king. i think it is one of the best animated movies ever made and it will be on eof the best in the time to come.

I can not wait for the third Pirates. I like to see how they are going to wrap it up. The second one was not as good as the first so maybe this one will be just as good. I would also like to see the Simpsons movie. It is long over due. I am a fan and can not wait. Thirdly Order of The Phoenix, I am a Potter fan I must say. I was a little bummed about the last one they made. It was not so good.

2 of the movies I really want to see will be released tomorrow (Jan 12). I want to go see Alpha-dog and Stomp te Yard. For alpha dog it,s a little bit because of Justin Timberlake but i red good critic for his role.
As for stomp the yard, I like this kind of movie with kinda dancing. I almost have them all (Save the last dance, you got served, step up, etc)
Also Transformer. I just can't wiat to see my childhood cartoon becoming a movie. It's gonna be great. I saw the teaser and hopfully a trailer will be put soon.

Alpha-Dawg does look really good. I'll be waiting till it comes out on DVD. Timberlake looks like he does a really great job in it. It's good to hear he's getting good reviews.

I want to see Alpha Dog as well. There's an actor in it named Vincent Kartheiser that I'm a big fan of. It's getting really good reviews as well.

I'm definitely looking forward to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I don't have time to read the books (they are just too long), but I make a point to have a "date night" with my significant other who is also a Potter fanatic so we can go and see it in the theater together. I'll be interested to see the follow-up to Bruce Almighty. The first one was my first date with my honey and I loved it! Happy viewing!!

ohh i ve read the book one thousand times , and i jus cant wait
i hope they dont disapooint me
the first two movies abt Hary potter , was jus too good
but they jus screwed the third and fourth movie completely
which i expected
so all in all

I'm also looking forward to the new Harry Potter flick (and I'm SO grateful there won't be any more Lord of the Rings movies. I hated those films, and the books, too).
I suppose the only other film I'm looking forward to (and its just opened) is Children of Men. It looks intriguing, to me, and I've kept myself from finding out too much about it because I don't want to know much before I see it.
I haven't done much research on what is opening this year, so I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised and find there are lots of films I'll want to see this year.

I really want to see Children of Men too. It's gotten great reviews. I've managed to stay spoiler free as well, and I haven't read the short story it was based on, so I'll be coming into without any expectations.

Hi,
I'm looking forward to Apocalypto, seems to a Mel Gibsons classic! The language is Maya, great to see some other culture films. Also lookin forward to Letters from iwo jima. That's the story from flags of our fathers seen from the other side, they say it's even better than flags of our fathers!

I am looking foward to seeing 300, it's by Frank Miller from one of his graphic Novels like Sin City was. It's about the battle of Thermopylae in 480 B.C. (Spartans, Persians) It looks awesome. I also want to see the Tranformers movie, and of course the next Pirates.

I can't wait for Spiderman 3 and also Ghost Rider. Nicholas Cage is playing in Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider is a comic from Marvel, like Spiderman, so for thoes of you who are waiting for Spiderman 3, check out Ghost Rider aswell.

im also waiting for harry potter and the order of phoenix, unluckily movies in the philippines are being shown later than most of you. but i would love to watch it. im not updated about the trailers coz I watch on DVDs rarely on cheater I would like to watch another Boat Trip or Jet Li movie

I can't wait for the new indie movie, Girltrash! to come out. It looks sooooo awesome. It's set in the underworlds of Los Angeles. It follows the story of five women, and what they do to get by in these dark times....Kinda like a Miami Vice feel to it, but it's going to be way better then that film. lol No offense to those who enjoyed MV. :)
