What do you want to be when you grow up?

This is an age old question, I am sure we were all asked as children one time or another. What do you want to be when you grow up? My daughter recently said she would like to be a teacher. I can remember saying I wanted to be a teacher too, and also a veterinarian. Today, I am neither and far from both. I'm curious what are the different things you wanted to be when you grew up, and did you actually follow through and become what you wanted, or were you like me and go in a totally different direction?

Hopefully when I grow up ill open a succsseful start up :)
I want to combine between biology and programming :)
But to do this I just have to success with the test coming up in the university...

Sounds great, however I was asking what you wanted to be as a child and if you followed through with that as an adult.

I am currently studying bachelor in computer applications.
i will sure become a programmer anaylst or a software engineer. i want to continue my studies after completing BCA . i want to acheive something special that who has never achieved. i will acheive it one day.

Thank you for your response, but I'm not sure you read the discussion question right. I was asking what you had dreamed of becoming when you were a child, and if it was the same or similar to the career you chose as an adult.
