is it necessary credit card to open paypal account????

hi, i have a problem regarding pay pal account, when i am creating new account in pay pal, it is asking credit card, is it possible to open pay pal account with out credit card?? please help me suggest me regarding my problem.......

EFT = electronic funds transfer It's a way to get money from your paypal account to a checking account or to a credit card.

I think it not necessary for open paypal account but if you want money by EFT or check then necessary a credit card and if you perches online product or online payment to other then it is not necessary.

No but then you will have give to give a bank account and they will check that is really yours bu depositing two amounts of money and then you will have to confirm how much each deposit was.
